What we collect

When you buy a roll we keep your names, the wedding date, the time zone, and the email you paid with. That email is your account. When your roll develops, we also keep the private link we make for it.

From guests we keep their shots. The camera sends each photo with a random device ID so we can count 27 per phone. If someone types a code that doesn't exist, we keep the internet address that phone connected from, only to slow down code guessing, and we delete it after a day. Guests have no account, and we never ask for a name or an email.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email and when you signed up so we can send early access and launch news. Joining does not create an account or buy a roll. Email hello@twentyseven.camera to leave the list or have your email deleted.

To limit repeated signups, we temporarily keep a coded version of your internet address and a request count. We do not store your raw address with your signup.

DJs and planners

If you sign up as a DJ or planner, we keep your name, business, email, city and when you signed up so we can send you your partner code. Email hello@twentyseven.camera to have it deleted.

Who sees the roll

Only the two of you, and anyone you send the roll's link to. Guests never see each other's shots unless you share the link, and nobody, including you, sees a shot before the roll develops.

How long we keep it

1 year after the wedding. Download the whole roll anytime before then. After that, the photos are deleted and we can't get them back.

Deleting your account

In the app, tap your email, then Delete account. Your roll and every shot on it are deleted straight away.

Payments

Payments go through Link, Stripe's merchant of record service. Link sells you the roll on our behalf, keeps the billing details a payment needs, handles the sales tax and sends your payment receipt. We never see your card number.

Counting visits

We count visits to this site with Vercel Analytics. It sets no cookies, keeps no personal data, and never sees a camera link or a sign-in link.

Ads

Our home, order and guide pages load Google's ad tag. It sets cookies so Google can tell us when someone who clicked one of our ads goes on to order. It never runs on the guest camera, a roll or a sign-in link, and it never gets your names, your email or your card.

Notifications

We get a notice in Slack, our team chat, for each order (the couple’s names and wedding date), each waitlist signup and each partner signup (with the email address).
